Since we sort of share the same type of name, although Ass is my middle name not my last, I knew when I read your posts that I would enjoy them. And boy, do I enjoy them!
Jules,
On an unrelated note, Le Clown had a dream about you last night. I saw you as your Facebook avatar, and we were best friends. You dropped by to watch Requiem for a Dream…
I need to say goodbye to dilaudid, methinks…
Le Clown
oy.. “Requiem For a Dream”–Gee, LC, thanks for THAT image.
You know, when I taught film editing to Chicago college kids, I used the final 20 minutes of that film to demonstrate not only the wonders of that is parallel editing, but how some sex shows actually look. Such the feel-good film.
Jules,
I once suggested to a friend that we should watch Requiem on a Sunday afternoon as it was a “feel good movie”… That friend never spoke to me again.
I actually own Ice Storm. Love how Ang Lee portrayed the era.
It was a fun dream.
Le Clown
yeah, I always tell folks to follow up RFAD with healthy dose of Mel Brooks’ comedies–starting with “Blazing Saddles.”
i’m going to have this blog translated into korean then back into english by bing, then read to me by someone in their manic phase and/or in a fugue state. i will do this in the way of corroboration.
